History
T&M Asphalt Paving was started by Tom and Mike Ford in 1969. The two brothers started T&M as a sealcoating and striping company. They steadily grew the business by adding asphalt, concrete and grading services. Their hard work, attention to detail and emphasis on quality helped grow the company into the industry leader it is today, employing a hundred skilled and dedicated employees.
Tom and Mike Ford continued to work actively at the company until their retirements in 2016 and 2014, respectively. Taking over for Tom and Mike were longtime employees Darryl Fegan and Vince Van Poppelen. Darryl Fegan joined the company in 1981 as a laborer on one of the crews, working his way through the ranks from construction to sales and operations until he was named president of the company in 2014. Vince Van Poppelen joined the company in 1988 as the corporate controller. He currently works as the company’s CFO, vice president and a project manager.
